“Do you know how adorable you are when you’re angry?”

She flared her nostrils. “Cut that out. I’d like to go or should I call Sterling to come pick me up?”

“You can do that but will he make it here in enough time?”

She took a step back. “Time for what?”

Without giving a chance to react, Beau swiftly grabbed her hand and yanked her against him once again. He locked one arm around her waist holding her in a grip that would be hard for her to break. 

She attempted to shove him off again, but he refused to budge.

“Let me go!” 

“Not until you tell me why? Won’t you give us a chance when I know you feel the chemistry between us. Your words may say one thing but your body always tells the truth.”

“Okay, so what? I have normal needs like any red-blooded woman. I’m sure I would react this way with any man.”

The very thought of her being with another man sent his rage meter to the top. It was almost as if she was deliberately trying to push his buttons because whenever it came to her, he had no self-control.”

“Is that a fact?” he asked softly trying to control the thundering in his brain that told him to throw Wynter on the floor and fuck the living shit out of her.

Wynter apparently didn’t hear the warning in his voice. Instead of diffusing the situation, she smirked and said, “Yes, as a matter of fact since I was with you, I’ve been with a handful of men who were much better in bed. So you’re nothing special.”

Something inside of him snapped. 

“I didn’t realize you found my technique so lacking, but you know what they say, practice makes perfect.”

He released her but only long enough to toss her over his shoulder and head to his bedroom.
